They want "instant gratification" where they can come, sign up, throw $$$ at it
Then catering to those needs seems like a logical choice. Between 2 extremes there is usually an acceptable grey area which is acceptable to the most people possible. This game is very much standing on one extreme and that is the main issue.

I very much doubt that most of the current userbase would quit if some aspects (training, arena building) of the game were tweaked and made faster to cater for new users' needs, so that they can feel like they are progressing. And I don't mean small changes to one skill or another or a few more seats at the start of the career, I mean changes which have a tangible impact on a weekly basis. This kind of game must be rewarding at any stage and in particular at the beginning if it wants to survive.

Nothing of the sort has been done since I joined this game nearly 3 years ago. The devs have preferred spending their time fixing blank lineups, introducing sales tax, introducing the bid tracker etc, which highlights the fact that they are completely oblivious to this simple truth or willingly chose not to take any action to make the game more interesting/appealing to new users.

On top of not helping the new users the other issue is the lack of direction. I think it's kind of crucial to understand where the devs think the game will be in 2, 3, 5 seasons in terms of structural changes, in terms of the game economy etc. We only get small changes every season that do not appear to fit in a more general plan. THIS is the main reason behind thinking the game is doomed, even more than the loss of users.

You must not be familiar with the word progression...

Starting with a (very) slightly higher stock does nothing for progression, therefore no credit is due for the point I'm making.

Besides the change was introduced to tackle the problem that you have in micronations where new managers might actually start with an awful, if not negative team economy because they are placed in D1, they have a too small arenas and they can't demote. This is a design flaw that emerged more frequently due to the loss of users and has been corrected. It's also fairly marginal considering the overall time and cost of expanding the arena. To me that is more akin to fixing a bug than a change to help new managers.

FA has been changed drastically several times in a few season and with policies directly opposite to each other. It may have been changed again mid season with no news update. Do you seriously want to use FA changes as an example to anything? Even knowing that they can be used to demonstrate the exact opposite? You don't need to look any further than what Marin wrote in the new season update a couple of season ago...

Why too much people crying about slowly training, small arena etc.? I'm relatively new user. It's my 5 season in the game. And I like this game. Why? Because it's not easy! Training is hard, development players is hard, building higher arena is hard. It takes a lot of time. This is reason, why I play game like this. It's a big challenge. For example: promote to first division, "make" NT player etc.

Again, I enjoy BB because it's hard! You need a long term plan. Sorry, my English isn't very well. I just want to share my opinion.

I know. This is trend for all on-line managers. It's unlucky. I don't have any idea what to do with this trend. I can see how the number of users slowly decreasing in my country (as whole World) and it's really frustrating.
