Yeah I reckon it's frustrating for experienced managers who wants to renew their teams.

But if they are so few good players on TL, in the end, the level of BBBL (and even B3) will decrease over the time. We have to adapt our strategy.

Since this sparked a pretty rough reaction, i'm going to close the debate as following:

You may try to sell the player at any price you desire. The player will be evaluated based upon previous sold players at that current time (lucky sales or not), not 2 seasons ago. All i was willing to give was a friendly warning that you are testing the borders, dont' be surprized if suddenly they decide to push back. I've seen fines for truely unique players (amongst which a player who i never saw on BB before & went for 8M, which later got a price re-adjustment)

it's not because you guy's see the players going for high prices that they don't get re-adjusted afterwards. This will be my final post on that subject, since obvliously it rubs people in the wrong direction. i'll let the other GM' s decide on wheither or not a price adjustment is required or not. anyone i've had regular contact with, is considered to be to familiar to judge upon, hence the decision won't be mine to make. I just wanted to give you guy's a fair warning. Thanks for shooting down the messenger...

the TPE uses the prices of a benchmark of up till a season ago (14 weeks). those are the benchmarks that are used. do you truely believe we adjust prices based upon pure luck?

& the adjusted price of a player doesn't count towards those benchmarks (as in, the original price is used as a benchmark, not the 'corrected' price). this is so that the market could potentially evolve. however your asking price for that player is twice the amount of any player with a simular age, within the last 14 weeks.

So to explain it: if the last 14 weeks, players with simular skill were suddenlly sold for 2M instead of 4M, then that means the market has evolved (downards)

The market will evolve upwards when their are bidding wars for certain players. We don't correct bidwars.

It's not because those TPE players had > 85 in outside skills like Wan that they have the same skillset. I'm sure they didn't have the nice 17 in outside def...

But in fact what you said is a good news for me, when I'll have my new outside player, I'll ask the GM to reduce the price! (just joking)

I'm not shooting you, just telling that if you scale on the TPE and adjust the price of some players randomly (and it's random, because as far as I am concerned, the TPE always values transfers below what they are available) it won't help keeping people around if they have to buy high and get their sales readjusted ...

And what I wrote above is the absolute truth. Want a NT player in your team ? As long as he's not 30, you'll have more than 5M gone, and 5 M isn't very much.

I'm not mad at you, really not, but the system isn't ... very reliable.

Az - since you're around: Are there any topics discussed aside from the marketing actions? The draft system for instance?

The TPE isn't random. there is a lot behind it, in terms of coding. but i'm not allowed to disclose it. it's far from as random as you think it is.

currently there are quite a number of things on the table. Draft isn''t one of the items. Team finances & micronations are on the table currently.

Now it's look like 4M was a good price as you've already find one buyer.
