For whatever reason, Brighton gave Slugs the game. Maybe it was to rest starters, or maybe he forgot to set his lineup. Either way, doesn't help me much! Will have to try and beat Slugs on the road if I'm lucky enough to make it that far.

Small notes of my first season in III-14:

-Very happy with the results obtained, well above the initial previsions.
-Clearly there are 2 teams well above the rest (Seaslugs and Eggies) and a group of 10/11 similar teams, where anyone can beat anyone.
-I was surprised by the high number of transfers of important players with the season started.
-I think that a good management of the "enthusiasm" of the team and the "game shape" of the players is very important to obtain good results, sometimes more important than the individual quality of the player.

Good luck in the Play-Off's and Merry Christmas to all!

Good luck tonight Quim! I can assure you my team is not taking this game lightly. Win or lose, you have had a VERY good first season in D III. You are correct to focus on enthusiasm and game shape. Keep building your roster/arena and you will be a D II team in the near future.

Hi David! I will also take the game seriously, although my chances are very remote. As you say, this season my work is done and everything that comes from now on is "extra". For my team it will be an honor to be able to dispute a PO against maybe the best team of III-14.

Very surprised about the Spurs/Seaslugs result last night. Even more surprised Slugs went "normal" on the last game of the regular season. Just goes to show you how important game shape and enthusiasm really are.

Spurs - As a Rockets fan, I hope our game doesn't go the way of the Rockets/Spurs series from last season! Your team got off to a slow start, but has been on fire the second half of the season. You will be a very tough out.

Slugs came back in the 3rd and I thought that was it for me. Nah, I probably put my chances at beating you at <5% especially since I just used playoff crunchtime.

As a Rockets fan, I hope our game doesn't go the way of the Rockets/Spurs series from last season!
