Yes we lost to Nigeria still, the outside offence was great, to bad FCP wasnt the best defend tactic as we had only 9 steals.. I can almost bet that if we have played 2-3 zone the score might have looked a lot differit... I am sorry now SirJaws that FCP didnt worked as we predicted but there are lots of matches ahead of us and I'm sure we can challenge the 1st and the 2nd places :)
Good luck!

Ohhh, I believe we can all agree that our chances to enter WC are preaty much over..
Nontheless I believe SirJaws did his best and one thing is for sure that running a NT is alot more demanding then running your own club and one of the reasons is that you know what you need to train to improve and have direct control over your players when it comes to the club but on the NT others help you train them and you can do what best you can with what you have.
Though SirJaws has alot more to improve and Im sure he will and I want to ask of him to be more participative - if he doesnt involve more with the NT who will?
First of all send guidlines and ask players that own SA players to do that try that because I can tell you that it is a huge motivation to others to see that you really care what happens to their guys, our guys. If you dont keep communicating with them they will forget about the bigger picture and thus concentrate on building their team allaround rather then helping a guy two and thus helping SA.
I have old guys in my team that are in the NT and it isnt very good for me to keep them because they train alot slower they almost reached their potential, still I keep them and train them until I squeese every drop of training left in them to help our NT...
I hope you understand what I wanted to say and a good manager should know how to take praise or critics alike.
Maybe its better to not qualify in the WC were Im sure we would get beaten by the other worlds strogest teams for sure, and win some scrimmages and help building a better SA NT.

All the best, South Africa for ever
Tom

Next game tonight, I hope that we can get a win tonight, Its been a difficult season and very dissapionting , This is not what i hope for as SA deserves better. I hope we can win the last two games and then we will see what happens next.I would like to thank all the SA coaches for the good trainings work they are doing. It would be great if as many coaches as possible would train centers and power fowards. Please if you jave any players you think could help the NT let me know

yours truely SirJaws

You guys need to pick it up. You're the second best African nation, but you're definitely not showing it.

Next season will be South Africa's "Road to Redemption".

Good luck.

South Africa National team is going in the wrong direction...
It is very sad as we used to be one of the top teams in Africa now I think we are at the bottom...
Hope things will improve in the future and I hope with the help of the youngsters it will be better. :/

South Africa Chile 102 - 118

Yes unfortunately... Well this season South Africa didn't really showed us anything... It could be because not enough youngsters were good enough to be brought to the big team... I don't know... I just hope that in a few seasons our youngsters will be good enough for the National Team and things will look brighter :)

The fact is that at the NT we don't have inside guys and our outside guys (most of them trained by me and Boss) are pretty old to pop up as fast as they did when they were young...
I believe we need some new players for the NT that can only come from U21 and that unfortunately will take some time...
Right now I put all my hopes in the U21 and I hope we can qualify for the World Cup!
Good luck Boss
