I have several players i would like to be Hall of Famers, but obviously not all of them can make it. So know i have to make a difficult choice, which player to highlight as HOF?

Thats what makes it cool.
Well without having a restriction on who you can select for the Hall of Fame, but only how many you can select, your choice would become even harder, so as far as I underastand it this should only make the HOF "cooler" according to your comment.

The important thing is that there should be an upper limit on the number of players you can select, but the citerias for which players desrve those few spots available should be up o you to set.
If i could just slap any half decent player up there it would mean nothing and render it pretty much useless.

Thus a change would not affect you as you wouldn't select this kind of players to your HOF. Why shouldn't someone that has other criterias than mine or yours be able to select according to their criterias?

Oh i´m sorry, somehow i horribly confused the meaning of your post. How i did it is a mystery even to me.

Actually, i agree. With a strict limit on the amount of HOFs further restrictions is not necessary unless the meaning is to make sure the HOFs are real HOFs and not just some guy who is chosen for comic relief.

I dont mind managers having that option, might be fun.

44 games is the minimum.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

Hi, First of all, I want to say that I really love this feature...
I just have 2 proposal to your consideration:

- raise the games to be eligible (44 are not very much, I think HoF should regard players that have played a long time with your team...in my opinion something like 75-100 games would be more appropriate)

- enlarge the number of players eligible (1 for year).

And last, what about the possibility to retire the related number?

NO ONE at this table ordered a rum & Coke
Charles: Penn has some good people
A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

The it is just a simple case for you not to slect any players that have played less than e.g. 75 games.

This is already possible. When you have added a player to the HOF you can choose a number to retire (you find it just below the player image).

You're right, then if you think this way you can abolish the game limit at all...not a problem, obviously, I'll surely select players with a higher number of games.
I'm still thinking that it would be "strange" to see players inducted in the HoF with so little games, but probably it's not my business if someone desire to do it...

...last but not least, thanks for the clarification, I was not aware of the possibility to retire the number.

I admit it is a little bit like playing all your best outside players at C and PF and vice vrsa. Nothing that I would do (except perhaps for training reasons), but if someone wants to do it then why not?

At last this is the correct question, I agree there is not a real reasons to negate; it was just a "fine tuning" proposal.

Cheers
