Some may prefer to keep their players with shotblocking as low as possible. And so they may put ID as the last inside skill to train (as ID training also adds SB). It makes a difference to, for example, if you train ID first.

I don't think I could follow you there. If anything, the difference will probably be so marginal as to be meaningless. Also, I think people ignore SB at their own peril. Zone defenses do rely on it to work, for example.

I have already said not everyone would agree with this. There is no need for you to react like this.

He reacted in a calm manner, so I don't know what do you mean by this...

8 weeks of JS SF/PF for 19yo 213 player (his JS was lowest skill of all) resulted in only two pops. i guess height does influence JS training speed. 5 lvl trainer, 48mins always.

How many pops did he have in those 8 weeks in DR, HA and IS?

I believe JS for SF/PF position trains slower because the pops are "distributed" betwen IS and JS. I bet it would be faster if trained on PG/SG position.

detailed training from 4/22:
FT: pop
JR SG
JR SG
DR SF/PF
DR SF/PF: HA DR IS pop
JS SF/PF
JS SF/PF: JS pop
STA: pop
JS SF/PF
JS SF/PF: JR pop
JS SF/PF: JS pop
JS SF/PF: IS pop
JS SF/PF
JS SF/PF

so 8 weeks JS, with subs from 2 driving weeks and 2 JR weeks, only two pops. he would probably pop if i would give one more JS training. but that would still not make me happy. and i have trained guards before 2-3 seasons at JS SF/PF, they poped in JS as i expected they will.

I guess it's really just the height, I cannot explain it in any other way. I will show you my training from last year for Polh (18yo, 188cm) and Zorin (20yo, 183cm):

1. DR for SF/PF: Zorin pop in JS, Polh pop in HA and IS
2. JS for SG/SF: Polh pop in JS
3. DR for PG/SG: Zorin pop in HA and DR, Polh pop in DR
4. DR for PG/SG: Zorin pop in JS, Polh pop in JS and HA
5. JS for SG/SF: Polh pop in DR
6. DR for PG/SG: Zorin pop in JS

So out of 6 trainings, five pops for Zorin and seven pops for Polh. I guess it's really just the height...

yes, thats why i'm posting here :) because some people including me, believed that height doesn't influence JS training speed. now my beliefs have changed ;)

Full 18 weeks JS for SG/SF without a single IS pop up. Not fun at all :P
