He played a five man lineup in your regular season game with at least one player who had a lower rating in that game than any of the ten guys he fielded this game.

But it's simple to see what happened: you both shot roughly 50%. It's just that he took FORTY ONE more shots, thanks to him forcing 27 more turnovers than you did, plus taking 12 more offensive rebounds than yours. Your starting big men alone turned the ball over 12 times.

If you played m2m you could win this game in my opinion.

You killed it with your 2-3 zone, too much space for his SF and SG, they scored 27p and 23p (even his PG was the 3rd scorer of his team wit 16p), 2-3 zone leave too much space for outside players.

The game was 50-50, you had no luck in the end, one FT could make it during the game or anything else.
Your C got 6 PF-s in 35. min and I guess his replacement was not even close to him.

And ofc there is his home advantage.
I wish you more luck next time mate, best regards.

Thank you for your deep analysis.

Last question, why my big advantage in term of rebound did not give me better stats ?

Something went wrong with the rebounds that's obviously, but what, we can just guess.

You had 7 offensive rebounds more then your opponent, that's fine, but in total just 1 RB+..
It could be that your RB dropped when your C goes out of the game with 6 PF-s (he had 10 RBs in 35. mins)
His big guys where dominant in RB with 22 and 14 RB.

Your team had 20 shoots more in the game, so they had more chances to get defensive rebounds. (It's easier to get a def RB then an off).
Juts unlucky this game, every detail can be crucial for that 1p difference you needed for the win...

This is where we hold them!
