One suggestion that comes to mind off the top of my head is a format similar to the FA Cup, where the top teams do not enter until the 3rd round. Top team would be any team with a world rank of (...pauses to check Gachai world ranking...) say 75 or better. Then rounds would be a home and away aggregate score differential on Wednesday and Sunday. Maybe that is an idea that could be worked with.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

Here’s a crazy for some changes in BBB.
One thing’s for sure: there must be 128 teams left for the 2nd round. In the current system, there are about 10-20 teams that need to be eliminated in the first round, depending of the number of countries that have only 1 team in BBB (about 50).
There are 96 countries at this moment in BB and if there would be 2 representatives from each country that means 192 teams. In order to remain 128 in the 2nd round, 64 teams would have to be eliminated in 64 games. The number may grow with the creation of new countries and with the number of “white cards”. In this stage of the competition (1st round) the aprox. 50 teams with silver trophy could face each other and the best teams in the world (let’s say top 100) could be ruled out from the draw.
This system might annoy some gold trophy teams that would face better silver trophy teams but the current system, at this moment, definitely disadvantages good teams the get stuck behind world top leaders. Another problem would be how to chose between the finalist of the first league playoff and the finalist in the tournament.

In the end let’s face the facts…the current system is much, much simpler and that might be enough to never see a change, no matter what we might come-up with.

One suggestion from me, is when one team wins the championship and the cup, the tournament finalist will be able to play on BBB too. Little off topic, but i had that thought for long time

I like it as-is - you have to actually win something to qualify.

A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

what i like to see, is the removing of the lifetime "wildcard" for ex champions. It looks kind of weird to have a bot playing it. Let them play just the next BBB

I believe any team that goes bot is no longer invited to the next competition if they received the lifetime exemption.

Supporter Idea;

Run a global league parallel to that of the domestic league. The BB3 would remain the same as the equivalent of the domestic cup.

Big project and I imagine much more server space needed but how many more supporters might you see? Play the domestic game of Buzzerbeater for free and the domestic + global game with Supporter.

Ok so you would get some non-supporters winning domestic comps and im sure there are a few other things to iron out but if the gamedays were the same it would just be like doubling the userbase overnight (minus current existing supporters)

Just imagine the Global ASW line-ups!!

Well i might have some ideas for B3 format. It is obvious we have to have 128 teams to start. So the first competition week should be single eliminationar to get that 128 teams. After this there are few variants: 1. Make teams 64 on 2nd week and devide them into 16 pools of 4teams (weeks 3-5). Top 2 teams advance to single elimination rounds up to the final. (weeks 6-10). 2. If we are able to have more weeks after week 5 devide 32 advanced teams to another 8 pools of 4 (weeks 6-8). Now we can choose if we want to let just pool winners to advance to single elimination(weeks 9-11) or let top 2 teams advance and finish at week 12. The terms of seeding to group phase should be discussed. I think this format would involve more teams for more games in b3 and with proper seeding we could have very reasonable system where group winners might have HCA for quartetfinals (if we keep neutral final four).

I see what you are saying; but I dont want two parallel; dont want to get the feeling KOBE playing here and in supporters world at the same time..why not just suggest to play global on sundays? Then again; people might tell you why since FRIDAYS are already reserved for private PL.. I know what you mean since I follow debates everywhere; some may not know what you exactly mean...:D

yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the "present."

Thats why ive made my suggestion. In many countries like Canada or Greece they are is 1 dominant team, and 15 other teams to fill the league. You are European so you know how the tickets for the champions league or european cup work.

Anyway i think that a format similar to champions league will increase the interest for the B3
