Right, and the BBs have apologized for this already.

i'm not a First Division trainer.

i'm in III division in Italy, but i really don't know why, just beacuse 2-3 teams have 25.000 stadium and play in easy First National Leagues, everyobod must pay.

i really don't know why...it's ridicolous that the strongest team in my national First Division receives same money from TV than the worst of the VI division..isn't it!?!?

now most of the teams who are playing in Playoff could prefer stay in his division than be upgrade...!

and teams from the lower divisions of course not understand that because they only profit from that thing ..

The new changes could have been posted before, at least one week before the playoff market limit. As a LA... they could also be more concise... ;-)

- Inflation on the player's market is a fact, so something must be done. This excess of money is coming from somewhere. Identificating the source and correcting it is a must.

- Another fact is that BB-life in I,II and III divisions was much nicer than that of IV and V divisions, where the economic balance was much more equilibrated and probably somewhat drooping to the negative numbers, so welcome to real life to I,II and III teams (including me).

- Nobody can be really interested in a free out-of-control market. And the good thing is that after some time, prices will calm down. Congratulations to the BBs to be brave enough to take decisitions soon! In other games it is necessary a few months of popular pressure to make them move.

- For me, changes will not kill my economy. As someone said, adapt or die, this is a game! I understand that for other teams it may be tricky, but I don´t expect the change to be so big that the sale of one or two top players cannot compensate.

That's my opinion.

We should have a lock down!!! Don't play any games untill BB has sorted this mess out!! Team owners did it in the MLB and NBA a couple of seasons ago...

But serieusly: would it have been more accaptable if BB came up with a complete different story, something that is plausable like $ 7 maintence per arena seat every week? (together with a possibilty to size down your arena). Inflation is a problem (or do you think owning a player for half a season, and without training his value is doubled is healthy?), and BB should do something about it. The way the do it is arguable, but we will just have to deal with it in the way it comes!

i have a big arena and i'm in a low league (IV). if this is going to happen i want back ALL the money i spent to expand it

i think , this is personally mine.

revenue from a basketball league should really come from attendance and tv revenue and sponsors. and not from selling of players.

so i have to see whats the new formula of the attendance brings, moreover this makes those teams with better arena sizes to be able to cope up fast than those just adjusting to the new rules.

i cant really understand why we have to give money to the players union, they have already a salary or contract if they join a union then it should be at their own expense.

how does it return to us managers, if this is a way to close the gap of the riches and poor i would understand. but it doesnt leave the poor enough room to move since the rich are rich, they already have the money right now to be able to be ready to whats coming.

if i understand it correctly that your attendance is now a vital thing to your income, guess those who have many millions can quickly make thousands of seat already than those who are not.

still the money would come in but many are for the have and few for the have nots

actually i like the idea since its controls the managers in thhinking what is the best move and especially the trade market, ill say it i started in season 2 and when i buy talents for trainees it cost only around 400-800k but now with the same salalry and level bracket im really surprise to see it jumps to 1-2.5 million.

There were too much money on the market during the last weeks, I wasn't able to buy a decent player cause I wasn't able to obtain a good economy but you can't say that now BB is dead cause there will not be money after these changes. I think I will have to sell someone if I'd like to keep my balance, of course there is an huge difference between the Italian championship and the Island championship (just to give an example) but this is not a reason to keep in my team 4 people with 40k salary/week each one. For sure this change will reduce the average competitive level of Italian (and maybe Spanish or Brasilian) championship cause we have to take care also about budget but is ok if this will reduce also the ridicolous prices paid for the players; if the competition is not so strong a top Canadian team will still have more $ compare to a top Italian team and BBs must think about also this aspect.
This change is not bad one think that I strongly suggest is to inform the community in time before to make these changes cause we can discuss all together and you can take in consideration some ideas. Now everything is already decided, we can talk about it but I don't think you will change anything ;)
