LOL the Pelicans are trying very hard to get rid of Eric Gordon. First Jrue Holiday and now $44mil for Reke evans which the Kings won't match.

Free agent guard O.J. Mayo is closing in on a multiyear contract with the Milwaukee Bucks. Dallas has even more cap room now to sign Dwight and....? Josh Smith?

Manu Ginobili gets two-year, $14 million deal from Spurs. Not happy with his turnovers in the Finals he wants another chance to redeem himself.

I was expecting manu to retire, guess he and Duncan are going to hang in for as long as they can.

Korver 4yrs/24mil to stay with the hawks ... good money for shooting 3's and doing ashton kucher impersonations

LOL yeah I expected Manu to retire too, he was so bad in the finals. But for $14mil for 2 years, he must still be good i nthe eyes of the Spurs.

Kings gave $56mil to Iggy then turned it down, now traded Tyreke Evans ($44mil for 4 years) to the Pelicans for Vazquez.
"As part of a sign-and-trade arrangement, Evans will come to the Pelicans on a four-year, $44 million contract. New Orleans will send guard Greivis Vasquez to the Kings and center Robin Lopez to the Trail Blazers, sources said."

PG Jrue Holiday
SG Eric Gordon
SF Tyreke Evans
PF Anthony Davis
C Jason Smith

6th Ryan Anderson
bench Austin Rivers

I don't understand teams going for mediocrity (first round fodder, whatever) when the next draft is supposedly the once in a generation kind with 8 potential all stars.

They say generation but I think it's a little more frequent than that.

Nice, Olajuwon was right when he said Dwight was a 90% chance to choose the Rockets.

Pelicans are trying to trade Ryan Anderson for Asik now... Not that the Rockets would bite on that cos they already have Parsons who can spread the floor... But with Anderson at PF too, that would really open up the paint for Dwight.

Wow Dwight is a real dick. Keeps bailing out on teams because they only just make the playoffs. Maybe he should start playing better basketball and work on his free throws if he really wants to win?

Will be VERY interesting to see what changes both the rockets and the lakers now make. Rockets have to move Asik, everyone will be low-balling them.
Lakers need to either find someone to make a last run with Kobe/Pau/Artest/Nash or amnesty Artest and blow the thing up. Problem is I'm not sure the Lakers are capable of going through a rebuilding phase.

Millsap to Atlanta : 2yrs / 19mil, hawks needed to do something as they have a lot of guys off contract
OJ Mayo to Bucks : 3yrs / $24mil, might be ok depending on what sort of season's he puts in
Calderon to Mavs : 4yrs / $29mil, seems a bit much/long for a 31yo

Delfino to start if he performs anything like he did 3 seasons ago.

Now they need someone like Tony Allan. Championship defenders.

I hope they dont go for Josh Smith, he really hasnt lived up to his potential.
