Alright can we get back to the topic of the thread?
I would like to nominate IV.64 as the strongest division 4 league. For one, as we all know, the division 4 leagues determine the newcomers to each league by having a draft system to grab the best teams, and IV.64 gets the first pick each year as it is the highest numbered division 4 league. BB does not keep record of who gets picked and where, however I am certain that I was the first pick in this draft. And this league is full of teams that were at some point, the first pick in this draft. So mathematically speaking, this should be the strongest league in division 4.
Now I'm going to run by a few of these teams, starting with the Great 8.
1. The Pixies 7-0 215
Yeah so they beat me. I'm pretty upset about it actually. But then I look through Phonyamerican's roster (poop username by the way), and I notice that his best players are all fairly young and appear to have been trained by him. And I also notice that he does not use the same lineup every game, a rarity in division 4. I'm still coming for his ass next time we play, but this dude's aight.
2. Mof State Squizzes 6-1 227
Far and away the best team in division 4. It's not even close. Only loss came because I was trying to train my boy C-West. You know how it is. I have a star-studded lineup featuring former U21 greats Hubert Douglas and Chuck Rainey, not to mention NT legends Ismael Grubbs, Irwin Velasco, Willis Serrano, Qu Qihua, Terrell Sanderson, and Eugene Bollinger. That's 2 U21 players and 6 national teamers. In division 4. Nuff said. Oh wait, I'm not done yet. Kristopher Sloan is 3 seasons away from being the best player on BB. Eat my sack.
3. Orlando Orcas 4-3 18
Hasn't logged in since last season, but he still racks up W's.
4. Eknights 4-3 1
Not a bad team here. Recently just won by 32 on the road. Had a slow start to the season, starting to find their own.
5. Hard2Guard 4-3 -16
Underrated team in a difficult league. Just beat the Los Angeles Highlanders on the road! That's a great win!
6. Los Angeles Highlanders 2-5 -79
Went bot.
7. Revengence 1-6 -188
Somehow they have 12 of their 19 players in inept game shape, which is kind of cool.
8. Philly Snakes 0-7 -178
Young developing team with an active manager, making a cup run. Definitely better than their record, will probably move up to at least 6th.
So yeah that's a completely stacked lineup right there. Now let's move into the Big 8
1. Roc City Fighters 6-1 193
Has a 74k salary center who just got injured for two weeks. Has a 4k salary point guard averaging 22 PPG and 8 APG on 50% shooting and just under a turnover per game. I don't know how the hell that's happening, but not bad. Once he gets Hubert Douglas locking him down though..... oh boy
2. Kawhis Aztecs 6-1 136
Probably the best team on this side of the conference. Just beat Roc City on the road in double overtime. Instant classic. Coming off of a finals appearance last season. Has a pretty good 21 year old center.
3. FC - Shock Wave 5-2 71
Has a 11k SG averaging 47 points a game. That's nearly half of their team's points. Destined to be the next Milwaukee Lethargy, their four highest paid players are all age 35 or above.
4. San Diego Might Muffins 4-3 28
Has a player named Young Hutton averaging 30 and 16, pretty legit. Probably the best team-name-best-player-name combo in the league.
5. WildHoochieKoos 3-4 6
The WildHoochieKoos and Kirby McLean beg to differ on the statement above.
6. Pwnalots 2-5 -42
Their GM got named "Sexiest Man on Planet" according to a press release from 2013.
7. Vinny's Mafia 2-5 -89
Lost to a bot in the cup.
8. Universal Blues 0-7 -303
Is a bot.
Best DIV league hands down.
