Now I did have 12 players active, but 10 were assigned to the depth chart.

Herein lies the mistake. If you don't want the extra players to play in garbage time, don't include them for the game at all. It's one of the basic rules of getting predictable minutes, as it was written many times here.

Thanks for the reply. Wasn't a big deal, just wanted to know for future reference.

Yes, I was aware that the extra players can come in, but... Seemed odd that the first players in weren't all from the depth chart. Thought that can only happen when using "let coach decide" but guess not.

Hi gojbil.

As I explained via BB-mail, the tactics were set that way, so someone (you, most probably, unless you were hacked) must have set that lineup at one point and never changed it. Sorry, but nothing can be done, since there was no bug.

In my cup game tonight (45523126) my chosen backups at PF and C started.

That center played 48 minutes and ended up with 105 minutes on the week.
That PF played 35 minutes, 91 for the week, and got injured in the game.

The "former match tactics" show that I had two other players as the starters. Quite annoyed about biffing up game shape, and I suspect the injury would have been much less likely to occur in the correct lineup. I played "let coach decide", but I've never had this starters change when using this option.

Use "strictly follow depth chart" if you don't want unpredictable minutes. It's that simple. Everything else is unpredictable.

Unpredictable minutes is one thing. Replacing my set starters is another.

From my perspective I considered this a bug since this is this first time in 9 seasons it's happened to me in literally hundreds of games of LCD. I will use SFDC from now on, but I'm to understand from your flip answer that replacing starters happens on a regular basis with LCD?

No, but LCD does erratic things, as you've now witnessed. One day, when we have enough resources, we'll fix it.

I'll consider it,thanks, but you must be aware of the fact that we currently don't have the option of making changes to the GE, and it doesn't seem like we will have it anytime soon.

It's a known bug that happens on occasion. To avoid it, just use "strictly follow depth chart".

In today's game:
The player assigned to the reserve SG spot, played the garbage time, at PF spot, messed up training, minutes, everything.
And no, no mistake in the lineup, i already confirm that in tactics menu.
