I would be surprised if Harrell is at his potential. Oberortner with a salary of 32K is still popping at regular intervals - just a bit slower than last season (as expected due to the increase in age and slowdown in training speed).

it is. I kept training inside, and my new 19yo's are training slower than my last seasons' 19yo's.

I've actually been asking around to get info on OD training. Recently a top 20yo guard of mine trained:

2 weeks PG/SG pressure and 1 week PG pressure (8 trainer) and hasn't popped. Concerned he's hit his all-star potential soft cap, based partially on the info from this thread.

Pressure training
2 weeks PG only / 2 weeks PG/SG
trainer 8-9
for 20 yo 4 weeks
for 22 yo 3 weeks

The 20yo is the one I referred to above. His total skills add up to 77 (not including FT/ST). The 22yo (who double popped in OD/ID), now totals 75. Both players have all-star potential.

Jump shot for forwards secondarily pops jump range too. Haven't gotten any other secondary pops (except for inside shot).

I've a few questions (maybe from the outside perspective of a newbie), btw thanks a lot for all the research.

1- How solid is the evidence that there really is any difference between different training types in the training speed for the primary skill? The values in the first post look suspiciously similar, wouldn't the theory be simpler/better if we just assume it's the same in all ten types? Especially since it is apparently claimed by the same theory that training speed for secondary skills is identical across types.

2- How solid is the evidence that training speed for secondary skills is identical no matter how many positions you are training? Seems sort of implausible.

3- How solid is the evidence that there is any difference between different training types int he number of secondary skills that are trained? Again, would be sort of simpler if it were the same.

4- Overall the picture seems to be that trainings for two positions are most efficient, provided you have enough trainees. Agree?

5- Will a player train equally fast for, say, IS at C and PF respectively, considering that IS is apparently relatively more important at the C position than at PF?

6- I'd appreciate a link to a good post that describes the exact relation between age and training speed.

Thanks again, maybe someone has time to answer while we wait for the new server...

5. very hard to know all that yet, players have different height and maybe the different position...

wise post

I have question!
If I make training for Centr in a half of week and he played 48 minutes, and make training second half of week for guard and he also played 48 minutes..... can they progress both??

the only training that the player gets will be whatever is selected when the training update happens. So in this case, i think that would be whatever you'd be training your guards.
