Part of the problem with BB is that its level of abstraction doesn't really allow you to accommodate for why it is exactly that Stockton got all those assists: he is inarguably the best pick and roll point guard of all time. He and Kidd are 1/2 on the assists list and both had great handles on them, but they excelled in different parts of the passing game - Stockton could play a two man half court game with Malone and Kidd was in his prime one of the best transition PGs ever. There doesn't seem to be a clear way for those differences to be fully accounted for in the stats of BB. Which is totally understandable.

i agree, but considering the main skills are limited to 12, there are more important adjustments BB could nicely implement to the game. as you said, stockton was a static passer who could make same play in perfection and kidd is a creative mind but his asist stats would have been higher if he could have shoot better.

How about this sad stat for Nash..only 762 career steals..that is just ass. Stockton has 3265( 700 more than Jordan who is in 2nd place)..762 that is just ass. Let's look at it a different way. Shaq has 720..Nash has like pitiful OD..just garbage..

I remember him on his later stages of his careers when his knees left him. He was dominant defender and he earn 1 all star selection but his highest scoring output was less than 10. So good C yes. Good scorer never.

95% of the time, the league leader in steals or blocks are named the Defensive player of the year in the NBA. I just think Nash is over rated. He is probably the worst PG at playing the passing lanes in the history of the NBA.
