Newbies should use TPE anyway, I know I looked at it when I started. If a newbie overprices his players it would be a good lesson to learn. Newbies also do not play with the prices (how much I could get for this guy max) they usually list them below their market value.
Quitting is a hard word, if this small change, remember not everyone sells players daily/weekly (some even sell less than a player in months). If this makes you quit, you did not have intrest in this game anyway.
Right now I could keep my lowest skilled player on transfer list forever (let's say for 2mil), someone might eventually misclick and give me that cash. Or buy a cheap 2k salary dude and keep him listed for those potential newbies. Who then use their starting cash for this scrub. With this proposal I would be taxed for that player every time 3k (for listing him at 300k), that's 6k a week with 2 listings. Would make you think doesnt it?

Mislicks are Gms business, no issue then. Playrs on TL doesn't xchange anything in the game as long as there is no bid on them, so there is no need to taxed that. It brings nothing (good) to the game.

If you read my proposal correctly: GM's have less transfer price reports. I'm not completely sure when their bells and whistles start the alarm. Perhaps there is none and they work only on the ones that get reported.
It removes the click fishers and constant overpricers. They tryed to implement the report this transfer button, but they were overflown with reports, so they removed it again. So workload is extremely important.

TPE is useless too often. It is just a good lead to get what is big money in BB whether 500k or 5M.

For example my draftee (and draftees or other young prospects are what newbies would sell) is TPEd 350k-600k right now. Two weeks ago, he was something like 450k-3.15M and he got better in skil since. Newbies should really use TPE anyway...

Owners should be able to list players on TL at will, prices are changing constantly, many intriguing players doesn't even have a TPE and if it is often way off, I don't see any problem with testing waters via starting with accepatbale price and repeating it with lower price if necessary. This way sellers are already stuck with unwanted players for week ot two more if they went unsold. If someone wants to keep a high price, why not let him do that - he usually gets feedback via BB-mail and to me it is more acceptable way then spamming forums offering players to get a suitable price - at least he is offering the playetr to everybody not just that forum readers. I t may be just me but I beleive transfers should happen on TL/market not at forum boards.

I don't have a problem with guys listing players 2 or 3 times, but with guys who keep their players listed for a month or so. Just waiting for that one bid. Let's be honest now. Paying tax on player not sold once or twice does not kill you, but it makes you drop the price. If a player is not sold then the player is priced too high.
TPE is not always way off. TPE is rarely way off. Sometimes it is being influenced by the cheaters. If you want to sell your player check the TL for similar players and watch how much they sell for, then list your player. If you really have no idea how much your player is worth, list him at $1.
Remember tax would be 1%. So if you will not go crazy on your listing price and you really want to sell your player it will not hurt you. It will hurt managers who keep their ~400k value players listed at 1mil week after week.

this thread is classic.
an idea that gives more advantages to players who can be online when the most users are, yer what a great idea pfffft.

put simply really dumb idea.

and he actually suggests selling for lower because prices at times you can be on are lower then at 2 am in the morning.

as users have said the fan system already takes care of this, and while it only has a tiny effect , its because trying to sell a player in this type of game depending on where you live can be more or less difficult thus shouldnt be further punished

Ok i check this with my team, only 2(!) player in my entire team have a TPE and the TPE from one of them is way off the other is a minute killer with a tpe around 5k and we could een discuss if you could sell them for the maximum price of 60k.

So now lets take a look at the bookmarked player i like to buy, you see the same. A advanced minute killer who runs out from this list and looks like that:

Age: 26

9-7
9-5
9-8
6-8
7-8
5-8

XP: 6

So guess the how much he is worth, i am pretty sure that this is very different from the TPE.

ah okay, anyway as for the player you listed, I would guess he is worth between 800k and 1.2 million. Is that right?

tpe says 300k ;) And he was sold for 1,5 Mio, which isn't good but quite normal i think(i just see a other player who already have those bid, and another player who sold as comparision).
