I think maggot is the one to blame for our lower TV this season

Then you understand why I wanted him out. Its not just tv either. For every pathetic side he submits, we lose attendance. The reason the gap between us and ABBL is so big is because there is no mass tanking in the top league. When managers who tank to promote but don't have the knowledge to stay up anyway, all they do is add distance to the gap...

do you think i am tanking it? I am trying to win! These new comers are tough!

You went on a mass sale not long after maggot. Sure you kept a couple of players, but it is tanking none the less. To sell players who had you on top last season and not replace them for playoffs showed your intent. Just because you are trying with a lesser list than you had before your clearout does not mean you are not tanking... And your 1.9 mill dud has average gs. He will be much better when that is rectified.

This game is not a race, it's based on economy and has a player market. Tanking is a strategy and i've seen it worked for many people such as Koops and WA is a dump. I am sure they overstayed their welcome in ABBL. I am not using the same strategy as them because I don't have the heart to sell my main players. The players I sold were over 30 yo and they are diminishing every week. I sold my players prior to play off to get the best value for them and if I buy players for the play off, I would just be buying back 30 yo at an inflated price. Everyone is fond of this and it's not only me.

Just because you are trying with a lesser list than you had before your clearout does not mean you are not tanking...

Have you noticed the sharp hike in players price on the market at the moment? that should explain why my roster is lesser than it used to be.

I tanked too, for training purposes.

I have never tanked.. if I have then why haven't I ever been relegated? riddle me that wise guy.
WA yes he has tanked cos he went from abbl to div2.

awkward because I'm doing a mass tank and it seems I'm in the ABBL, so that would probably prove your theory wrong.

too many of my own issues to deal with

eagles put more effort into our game than me and it was at their home i was playing my 19yo trainee and they won by 12

but he got injured, my million $ recruit - ahhhhhhhh

u21 team gone
solid on my team by mid season gone
star on my team next season gone
huge financial hole and no ability to buy another trainee - still here

then we had an awesome gave v snuffles, up by 1 with 2 seconds to go and they hit a buzzerbeater to take the win, awesome game, crap result

and somehow i was a very silly fishy and instead of my scrub 3k rookie i put my 60k c in as sf in the cup when he was already done for the week and his gs is wrecked - dont tinker with your lineup at 2am

thats the two top teams probably in the league we could have beaten and we choked both times, we are like a fish out of water at the moment

so i take no joy in fat boys pain, i share it, i hope we can both stop sucking so hard

but i do have 1 question for him

1.9 million for that mediocre foul machine? why?

1) You have been in ABBL for 2 weeks. Hardly enough time to weaken the economy... Therefore irrelevant to my point.
2) You haven't sold your entire list for 7 players who are $2000 or less. That is what most tankers do. That is what I consider mass tanking... Therefore irrelevant to my point.

I'm yet to see the awkwardness...
