Well, 2.7m may seem alot, but when you consider that he could be earning you 20-30K merchandise a week for the next 10 seasons, its a bargain really ;)

Yeah, too steep for me, sorry.

To be fair it was 50/50 at 2 mill, would have had to look at salary increases following my training plans.

Looking very very tight and even on the ABBL ladder at the moment.

Anyone able to frame a market that would give the odds of each team winning this seasons championship?

Does anyone have a read on Stone Slashers?

Edit

Got bored so here it goes for a market;

5 to 2 - Aussie
3 to 1 - Immortals, Urmummas
4 to 1 - BLS
9 to 2 - Koops
8 to 1 - Dropouts
12 to 1 - YP Bears, HA, Stone Slashers
16 to 1 - Pancakes, Seagulls
33 to 1 - B Spurs
66 to 1 - Ants
100 to 1 - Homa Axis (HA the 2nd), Goldfish
250 to 1 NC Cavaliers

Thoughts?

cool looks gd

i dont think aussie will repeat some1 maybe mummies will buy up big & have a koop-like $1m++ roster

& home axis hasnt logged on 4 about 11 days now

maybe he made the abbl which was his aim & now he is retired

would be superfunny if it did happen & if i survived a 2nd season @ the salary floor bloop bloop

I dont think that there would be too many other ABBL teams that would be happy about this

Edit

Thanks for the kind word on the odds I set. (& Bloop to you as well)

I tried to give extra weighting & respect for teams that had won major trophies before thus those teams odds are a lot tighter than teams High School Dropouts & HA who havent as yet won anything of importance.

I also kept the "mid range teams" from the Great 8 a little shorter than those from the Big 8 as I figured they had a little less competition between them and the winning of their conference.

Any one spot any value bets from the odds that I set??????

Lol mummas 2nd favs? Them odds are too short for my liking, im more of a 12 to 1 outsider i reckon, current form is misleading as its still too early

ATM I'll keep Aussie up but at 3/1 there but then....

4/1 BLS
5/1 HSD
7/1 HA
10/1 YPB, Mummas, *Stone Slashers
15/1 PI, Chelsea
20/1 Ants
30/1 **Koop
40/1 Spurs/Pancakes
50/1 Cavs,
75/1 ***Axis
100/1 Fish

* SS are unpredicable. They even let WA win via w/o 2 seasons ago. Should they try, they migh be a little shorter, or they could also be 1000/1

** Koop not anywhere near as strong. Should they buy up again, they will be up there with Aussie and BLS

*** If Axis does return, then I will put them as high up as 15/1.

It's still too early to predict any of this enough accuracy, but still very interesting to see peoples thoughts now, them compare it end of season.

Second Team:
Pre-school Brawlers
After I few requests from fellow ABBLers I have relisted (32954042) at a lower price.

Let the bidding war commence.
