I'm training ID, but I care about the other guy.

I could just do RB and throw another guy into the training, but I was going to save RB for the harder weeks during the season. Or, of course, i could do the much needed FT and ST training that I constantly avoid...

I had foul trouble today, and only got a guy 40 mins at C. What do you think gives more training for that player, 40mins 1 position or 48 mins two position?
Can you play him as the backup C in the upcoming scrimmage? If not, I'd stick with RB.

I hope this is helpfull at least if you think how slow inside training (rebounding) is for shorter players.

So here is my update after rebounding training session.
- Trainer: level 6
- Elastic effect: not possible in rebounding due to much lower side skills
- Potentials: not even close to gap players
- Training period: 21 rebounding trainings in a row

Statistics by player heights:

1) 6'1" / 185 cm
Minutes: full
Age: first 7 trainings at age 18, rest at age 19
Rebounding: 7 pops, from 6 to 13. Sublevel of rebounding was quite high (pop in first training)
After last pop: two trainings
Inside shots: not a clue about sublevel, one pop
Inside defense: sublevel was about 0.3-0.4 (one full training). No pops at all.

2) 6'4" / 193 cm
Age: first 7 trainings at age 18, rest at age 19
Minutes: once 45mins, other 48mins
Rebounding: 8 pops, from 6 to 14 (pop in first training so sublevel was quite high)
After last pop: two trainings
Inside defense: sublevel has been quite high (two full trainings). One pop.
Inside shots: not a clue about sublevel, one pop

3) 6'9" / 206 cm
Age: first 7 trainings at age 18, rest at age 19.
Minutes: missing two full trainings (so only 19 trainings). Once only 39mins.
Rebounding: 8, from 5 to 13 (no pop in first training - low subskill)
After last pop: two trainings
Inside defense: not a clue about sublevel, one pop
Inside shots: not a clue about sublevel, one pop

4) 7'2" / 218 cm
Minutes: 9 full trainings and 46mins, 36mins, 24mins
Age: 18 years
Rebounding: 6 pops, from 7 to 13 (no pop in first training - low subskill)
After last pop: one full + 24mins
Inside defense: no pops
Inside shots: no pops

If I remember, I will update during next season break how things have proceeded. Possible thought that training will be changed to something else ;)

Anyone? Facts about training 1vs1 for long players? How about passing for long players? Anyone?

Dude, you are training two- and three- position training, what do you expect? I was training my 21-y old, 183 cm with one-position Pressure training. Popped every second training like a clockwork. With two and especially three position training, you are giving away a lot of advantage you could have over other teams. Actually, they now have the time advantage on you.

That's VERY helpful informaiton, thank you! So height plays such a big role in rebounding it's not even funny. I hope it's not the same with IS.

I guess the same is with outside trainings for big men. I can't answer you for 1on1 or passing, but I can say a bit about one-position OD:

I had 21y old, 183 cm and
22y old, 193 cm

The shorter popped every two weeks, the taller every three weeks. And it's only 10 cm!

EDIT: Level 5 trainer.

I wouldn't read all the posts just to find the answer for my question, so I'm sorry if this was already asked and answered.

How many weeks approximately for Free Throws from Atrocious to Respectable, 18 year-old, Perennial Allstar potential, PG 188 cm. I can't stand guards having atrocious FT.
