the only training that the player gets will be whatever is selected when the training update happens. So in this case, i think that would be whatever you'd be training your guards.

I'm reposting this for those who may have missed it up-thread:

I'm compiling training data for anyone who's interested to figure out exactly how much a trainee's characteristics (age, height, potential, etc) affect his training. This will eventually be very useful in figuring out which trainees to buy given teams needs/goals, and planning future training.

If you want to participate, BB-mail me the following info:

Trainer level, Training type, Position trained
Copy and paste each trained player's info (might take a couple bb-mails). After the first week, you can just send what you trained, and what pops you got.

Let's say I train C/PF positions.
My question is will my C who played... let's say... 30 min as C and then, 18 min as PF (which would be 48 playing minutes in total ) get his training?

Thanks,
Sanjin

Yes. He gets credit for any minutes played at the trained position(s).

4- Overall the picture seems to be that trainings for two positions are most efficient, provided you have enough trainees. Agree?

Is there data behind this -- I'm just curious because I've be looking for this kind of info.

1. How solid is the evidence that there really is any difference between different training types in the training speed for the primary skill? The values in the first post look suspiciously similar, wouldn't the theory be simpler/better if we just assume it's the same in all ten types? Especially since it is apparently claimed by the same theory that training speed for secondary skills is identical across types.

I think most big men trainers would tell you that Rebounding trains faster than Inside Shooting and Defense -- but I think that's probably based more on gut feel than hard facts at this point.

I trained this week for the first time JS for wingmens and no pops!

It is the JS training speed as same for wingmens as for guards? Thanks!
