No, i got your point. But you are infact playing the same game but a different sport. If your relying on the draft to give you the variety in games i cant see you hanging around for more then a season or 2. I think the difference your talking about aren't in the sim itself, apart from the draft, but are in the sports as a whole.

Lets face it its going to be game depth that keep people coming back to play season after season and which sport they prefer and understand better.

I declined more than a few invitations for a private league because I don't feel like an additional match in a week. Adding a youth squad might be too time consuming for many of the managers...

Yeah i agree, it should be optional to have a youth team. A lot of managers would find it too time consuming. But, theres also managers out there that want the additional experience of training people up. And most likely they are the people that will stick around with Buzzer Beater the longest.

My (unsolicited) advice to you: keep playing through the draft at the end of the season. You may draft a few players you get attached to and will want to train up. I drafted two such players in last season's draft, and now, they are key parts of my team.

you could even train in your first team ;)

And we play an NBA like basketball manager, so the draft was part of the game and a draft and a own youth team are too much ;)
