Correct!

yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the "present."

In topic 'Newbie help READ THIS FIRST' there is a section 'Skills for Each Position'. There you can find a rough idea of skills needed for each position.

Can you trust on this information, can you base your orders on it?

I've got for example a player which looks like being the perfect shooting guard (based on the list in that topic), but he is official listed as a small forward. Have you found this information by yourself, or is this based on how it is calculated in a match?

I trust it. I wrote it

It was compiled from the input of other users who have had success in the game thus far. And those skill sets are fairly self-explanatory. Inside men need inside skills while outside players need outside skills.

You'll find that your small forward will require a more complete skill set than other players (some inside and some outside skills). So there will be some overlap.

Quick question. Is the best position calculated based solely on his skill ratings? And does it change as the player improves? Suppose you have a PG and you train him heavily on inside offense/defense/rebounding, is it possible to make his best position change from PG to PF or C?

Yes to all, although the 3rd scenario is rarer.

A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

Question about the skills for best position.

Why do you separate it into 3 or 4 subsets? Is Jump Range for instance more important to a Shooting Guard than Outside Defense? It seems as if they would be equally important. I feel like you would see one set of skills that are important, mostly perimeter skills for a shooting guard and one set of skills that are not important, mostly interior skills for a shooting guard. The way you structure it, there are at least 3 tiers of important skills and who knows how many tiers of unimportant skills.

Well, I think it's all up to interpretation. If you want a more defensive team, you can reorder the list to your liking.
