In real life, a team wouldn't just not show up. If the other team was forfeiting and not showing up, I'm sure a real life team would schedule a scrimmage or inter-team game. We should at least have something like that happen, so the opposition has a chance to give their players full training minutes. I mean, I would've rather played his team before he sold all his guys so I could get training. Heck, I would've even bought him 5 scrubs for 1k each and fielded a team for him...I just want my training.

He means that if your are starter is different to your backup and your backup is different to your reserve. This would give each position 48 minutes spread out through those 3 players. If you set starter, backup and reserve to the same person, then that person will only get 43 minutes.

not really, they need to be there to get the points because else both teams was forfeiting. Your case is if one team can show up, but this normally leads to a change in schedule that the game is at a time where both team are avaible.

just starter different to backup, the 2 reserve minutes could go to everybody(also the starter or backup^^).

But overall i mean that.

Ugh, all that is moot. In real life people don't get trained solely on game minutes. All I'm saying is that if my opponent fielded a team, my player get's full training, and if my opponent doesn't, my player doesn't. Hardly seems fair.

I'm playing the same guy Winning Guy is Playing in a few weeks, luckily my match is the first of ASB so I can simply train ST or FT. However my worry is I am the home team. How is attendance to a walkover game calculated? Is it significantly less than a regular home game?

I understand where you are coming from, but it isn't realistic if you get training minutes for your opposition's team not showing up. And it isn't something that happens often so don't worry about it too much.

Totally agree with you. It is not fair to be penalised through the actions of an opponent which are beyond your control. Whilst the realism argument is not one I wish to get into, I would add this is a game, training is a crucial component, and with the way the game structures the training I would say it is incumbent upon the developers to develop a workaround quick smart. In Hattrick you are not penalised for opponent walkovers in this way, neither should that be the case here.
