That ties back to stamina. If your player has high stamina, he can play well for longer period of time.

Totally untrue.

I have had specialist players (def specialist) play that do not take many shots and still get very good ratings. In fact, I don't want them to take many shots (kinda like Ben Wallace of NBA). Excellent defense but you wouldn't want to gamble on him taking shots.

Another huge factor you need to consider is the level of competition. So a player playing against a bot will have an inflated rating, while a player that is playing up a few divisions may have a lower rating.

7. How well they defended the guy they were guarding. This has a huge effect when comparing blokes from different leagues.

So if you took a guy from league III and had him play in league V his player rating would probably go up significantly because of the competition
