ok then do what you want but buzzerbeater is not reality
but hey if you have better players then you would just win no matter the tactics

A FCP is good against any tactic if your handling and passing is bad. However, if you have decent handling and passing, then don't worry about the FCP and play whatever tactic you want. I would recommend going with a Run and Gun.

On the guide I think it is a mistake, the Best Against and Worst Against should be swapped around for FCP.

On another note, I would not recommend using a FCP in 99% of cases. It is a recipe for disaster, and you should be happy to see an opponent using it because it means an easier win for you.

fcp seems to be working pretty well for me i think that the more you use it the better your team gets at it because im seeing my win margins increase for the most part over the year

That'd have more to do with what you're training than your team just getting better at a FCP from repetition.

FCP is only really good against teams with poor offensive flow, you'll struggle if the offense has good passing/handling. FCP decreases your rebounding and defense and is also a bit of a stamina drainer but obviously gives a big boost to turnovers caused. You don't see it used much in most higher leagues.

FCP would work at his best, but worse than many other tactics
FCP is a desperation tactic, when you don't think you can beat your opponent, you can try to use FCP and see if it works

I do not think that fcp is a desparation tactic at all.... It just means you need to have the gameshape... stamina and defensive skill to pull it off!!! if you are against a team with poor passing and handlig and offensive flow then you can demolish other teams with this tactic.... I have seen as many as 40 turnovers created using this.... and if your team converts at these extra shots for goal thats alot of extra points your team may otherwise not have scored!!

scout the otherteam carefully before deciding to use it

True for lower divisions.

Comparable to suicide in elite leagues where players can handle and pass.

Say your team had strong inside and outside defense and wanted to try a fcp can you work out if it is a viable tactic before the game???

I guess you would look at how many turnovers the team gets a game......

does offensive flow tell us much about the team??
