If height had to be used in the game, you should insert all the other physyical skills that lacks in the game(for a precise choice of the BBs when they create the game)
And I don't think that this is possible,at this point of the development of the game

I think that height should affect block shots. If my center in 7'6" and i am playing against a center that is 6"6" , both with the same shot blocking level, my player should block more of his shots. I think that different training speed based on heights works fine i just think the game engine shot look at the players height when calculating blocked shots

I disagree, the different training speed for these skills take height into account. It does indirectly what you describe.

Besides that, your suggestion would mean there would be no bad blockers of 7'5", can't be what we want can it?

No, not good idea at all! We will face many situations like this:

Having height only effect training creates some counter-intuitive relationships in the game engine, but if works for this model/simulation or at least better than trying to incorporate it into both training and after the fact, into the game engine.

In real life, there are a number of attributes that might be physical constants that would effect a players performance: height, speed, wingspan, weight, width etc. But its a question of how deep should the simulation be.

Also, perhaps you've never seen a 7' 6" player that can't block a shot, because you've only seen player that height in the pros. But when I was in college, we had a player who was that tall (they took him as a project that they thought would develop, but he never did) and he was very uncoordinated -- his ability to rebound and block shot was minimal at best.

Can't agree more with this thread. Definitely the height factor should show some (at least) effect on the GE. Taller player will still won Rebounds, Shotblocking, Insidescoring against shorter player with EQUAL SKILLSET.

At times i was anxious to think how can i strategically post up my big SF (6'8") against opponent SF (6'3") , but still end up with low percentage shooting. (Again, both player has the same sKillSet).

I also remembered reading somewhere that in our GE, taller player will get rebound better than shorter player (with same SKILLSET). If this is not true then I might banging my head to the wall... o_o...

that right equal skillset means that a tall player have higher rebounding, else the smaller have the better technik and the big one the better ability ;) Or would you pay a center only how good he blocks out, instead of how much he really brings?
