The center and PF can help gameflow especially if you are playing tactics where they pass more. I have noticed that as i play motion and there are more outside shots, my big guys pass it a lot more and their assists are up. Ive also noticed with doing this the assists for my gaurds are down. However my flowhas been better with motion then say run and gun and pushing the ball because everyone on my team is good at passing and the motion lets them pass it a lot more. Thats just my opinion though. I thing that tactic depends on how much of an impact passing is for your big guys.

the effect on ratings is very very small, but as i said it isn't unuseful ;) The different flow will also exist with atrocious Handling/Passing PF and C with this tactics, a nice tool for this are the "coach parrot" where you could check those things aout.

No.
From the Game Manual.
Offensive Flow (how well the offense produces assists, avoids turnovers): point guard weighted very heavily, shooting guard weighted medium, small forward weighted medium.

Yes more than pitiful passing on your bigs help, but your PG is going to help it the most.

*EDIT* Damn. Look at those post times.

i am the few people on earth with a team flow over proficient.

I think its more like how many good shots ur team can create within the shot clock.
But just that u can create a good shot oppority, it doesn't mean the opponent can't play good defense to make u pass it out again.
Althought its a good shot, it doesn't necessary mean it must go in.
Entry pass into the lane is much harder than passing out, so outside players need more passing than big men.
And for most plays, the play start with somebody got the reb, pass it to the PG to cross the court, then wait for the offense to set up for the 1st Option of the team. So PG handle most of the first half of a play.
For whoever the 1st option is, its wonderful if he got a good shot, but if he pass it out, his passing is still count.
The 2nd option or the SG is often used to create angle for post entry so his passing is count too.

So your saying....offensive flow is the ability to get good assists?
I just pointed that out?

Or are you trying to fight the game manual?

The passing in the big man, doesn't show in the ratings, but in the game itself. If your PF and C can dish 3 or 4 assists each it will be a big advantadge.
