Right, the same seed used for the random generator in both games can explain this. If this seed is based on teams' ids, GS, players' DMI and so on, all games played between 2 teams will have the same seed and the same result, until one of seed's parts changes (GS or the lineup, i.e.)

With a seed based on date or date+time, this bug can be avoided. In this way, we can say that we/the team had a good/bad day, because the seed based on date generated a win/lost :D

i like this case, and maybe some guys who always play normal could test it in the off season or search some botgames who faced each other twice in the last week to see if there isn't a dynamic factor into the calculation of the seed.

I believe one thing still was/would change. A little and imperceptible thing. Maybe it's so small, it does not change? Experience

good point :) So in this case the impact of Xp was so small that it don't change any decision, which should be a rare scenario.

Yep you're right. For what i know, the "random" doesn't exist in the computer world, because every time you hear somthing like "randomatic system" it's based on an algorithm/function; a very complicated one but still an algorithm, so if you put inside the same parametres/numbers you will keep reciveing the same result.

Most advanced randomatic systems are based on the fluctuation of a single subatomic particle, basically on it's quantum mechanics.

It seems that more numbers are needed for the seed value. Or that the seeds need to be resown more often than once a game.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

Or exists a unique seed for all the games, but the match engine has more input variables which are used while simulating the game. For example. he has to choose who starts the game, based on starting lineup, using a random number generated with that seed. If the starting lineup is changed, even if the same number is generated, another player may won that ball.
