One thing the gm's need to do for people whose players would have sold sunday night is refund any salary that gets incurred once the financial update happens. I put my players up for sunday night and luckily it was early enough that when they sell (if they sell) that i wont have to pay their salaries for this week. I'm sure other managers had the same strategy and so i believe this is something they need to do.

They announced the down time Wednesday morning, you listed your players Thursday evening... no one's fault but your own.

My players will be long gone by the time you guys do the down time. I read the thread knew that it would go down AFTER the games and so i put them on the tl at 5:30 so i could still have them play the 3rd game of the finals for me if necassary then you guys switched the games back to 6. Either way I still think that is something that should be looked at though. You make a good point that people that didnt read the threads it should be on them. But still i believe that if a player is sold that was listed to sell before the financial update should have that piece of their salary credited back. Just my opinion. Either way you go though i love the game!
