i invested 20K all season, upped it to 40K in the last 6 weeks and didn't get sh!t (my late draft position didn't help i guess). there looked like a couple of decent prospects, but it raises the question - is it better to save the money each week and just work the trades? that is where i am heading i reckon.

yeah, good luck to all. And welcome back Holtz! got some nice players and are probably the hot favourite on paper it seems.

It is better to save your money and buy a good rookie as the whole draft system hasn't produced for me personally since I got out of div III. I was just hoping to get someone good after not having focused on spending for the draft in the last few season. Hopefully they are way better in those lower leagues which will help out those newer teams.

Its all about luck I reckon.. look at Berwick Beers (J-dog) this season, he got 1st pick in the ABBL draft and got a $7.2k salary 6"6 allstar potential rookie. No wonder he tanked the ABBL for it.

If anyone knows his stats please post it up for us to see. I would like to know whats behind that 7.2k salary.

Do you reckon he will sell for $5 mil? I think he would get the most money by listing him at $1000 during peak hours.

Nah

The Return on investment is too low for him, not worth it.

This was 1st pick in the ABBL draft last season, got him at number 2.

Probably the best raw draftee I have picked up. Having said that I will spend a big fat $0 on the draft this season and take my luck in the blind draft, then look to the market.
