Tijl Deseure is one of the best SG's in the NT that we have.

but he's still missing something critical, that is being within the upcomming weeks. So consider yourself lucky that you had to face him now and not in a week or 2.

btw: congratz on the nice win tho.

aaargh...I lost and I had the crazy dream that my team could have win....at least this is our best result ever in the Belgian tournament.
But what a bad match!!
I saw the 2 last quarters live, what a pitty...
Claudio "loco" Laitan was more Claudio "Loco-motive en panne" Laitan...
3-15 on 3FG's...
But he's not the only one...all forwards players were dreaming during the whole match!
Thanks to my defense by the way, without Govaert and Matyas, I can't imagine the result...

However, congrat'z to my "best ennemy" Basket Mizu Arlon for the win.
Did you made something special to Laitan? Voodoo? specific defense? He missed all his shots...
That was a real fight between our both defense, a real tough derby game with a lot of agressivity and unfortunately with a lot of missed shots too.
The winner was simply clearly the best.

Good luck for the next.
I'm now officially preparing my next season, so don't count too much on me for the next BBBL games.

But, as you all know...never underestimate the power of The Eye.

cheers

well no, actually didnt do any voodoo against laitan! i was expecting a difficult game but took the risk to play easy coz that's where the fun is ;)

i just discovered the result and was a bit relieved to say the truth... seems that it was a true cup game! i am sorry i have been such a pain in the ass for you over the past seasons. let's say scotty p and joey have balanced!

good luck for the remaining games and keep up the good work...

well, Joe has a simular problem :P

if you look carefully at his players, you'll find out pretty fast that most of his key players all have played 48+ minutes already.

considering the B3, in which he's doing very well, aswell as the league, he'll have to make some decisions in terms of who he plays where and how much...

i got a III team, but i wasn't 100% sure to win for one, and 2) all my starters already have played their minutes, aswell as my top 2 back ups... so i gotta make some decisions too. i wasn't expecting a III team anymore. was kinda expecting a II or BBBL team.

my goal was to stay in the cup till allstar week, so that i could maximize my training... so now, i'm wondering if i should push on or not... with so many BBBL and II teams left, chances of progressing aren't great. on the other hand, staying in the cup saves you the pain of having to find a scrimmage :P

everyone has simular problems during allstar week, so its hope for the best, and expect the worst.

ps: you got home court advantnage, and HCA in this stage of the cup can really make a big difference...

After TumasStars I hoped to have an easier game, but I got one of the worst draw. I had kept some good players (Berte, Van Praet, Otvetchikov,... And Thys has "only" 50 minutes) and my next B3 game is not too difficult. The problem is the next BBBL games which are very difficult. Maybe I can speculate on a win of Sum against Stonestars, and so I could use a joker next week. Wait and see...

That's a "little" advantage of not beeing anymore in the cup competition... it's that i will play 100% my championship games... compared to the teams still playing the cup that, if playing fully against me, could finish with a 0/3 for their week... that's a risk but a big one for sure... and therefore, in case sum (as well as the other teams) will still be in the cup competition, he would not have a lot of reason to play fully and took the risk to loose everything for a not so interesting game for him as he will be in the playoffs nevertheless... On my side, i will not take risks for sure to stay as close as possible of the N°10 team of the world....
