If I remember correctly, playing TIE increases your enthusiasm by 1/3, so if you TIE with enth=13 it would have climbed to (at least) 17... I have also played TIE for large stretches while still in the cup, and don't remember it being bigger than 10 (perhaps 11?) at gametime. But I may be wrong

Regarding the first question, I agree with the general meaning, that 10 is the maximum at the moment of the game, nevertheless it could be an exception if you reach the final of your league and play normal the two first games. As they are Saturday and Sunday, it could be that you manage to play over 10.
