if thats the case, possibly scout 3 of the unknows and see if you can find a guard height player who has 5 or 4 ball star rating. then spend the last 6 points and interview 3 of the players to see their potential.

if you dont get a better player scouted but the 6'2" 4 ball bloke i would interview him because it doesnt matter that he is a PF he will be trained as a guard, and interview two of the 5 ball blokes and see if you can sell them after and get money to either buy a canadian trainee or just improve your overall team.

i am training SF's so i am scouting all players between 6'4" and 6'8" and then only interviewing the high rating ones. and i am trying to find other playes that fit my training plans.

totally up to you mate. but i now think you need to at least scout 3 more players of guard height so you can at least find a high rating one... if that makes sense

That's one way to go
I could scout 9 more in hopes of lining up as many 5 balls and 4 balls as possible
I may find one or two high potential guys
but picking 16th I may miss them out of random bad luck
and if 1 other team scouted like me, they'll get them for sure
just looking for a consensus..thanks for your advice

you have roughly an 2/3 chanche of getting your number one pick, thats for me enough to go for him instead of checking or plan B. with a bit luck you also get your number two pick, with a ~22% chanche.
