Hi all,

Glad to be here for the first time :)

Some quick info about myself:
I'm Jan, 33 years old, father of a 6-year old son, live in Mechelen and work as an IT support teamlead.
I used to play basketball, i played Hattrick for about 7 years, so Buzzerbeater was a logic next step.

I made quarterfinals in the cup last season and after 6 or 7 seasons in div II i finally became champions.

My intentions for this season: to end dead last :)
I could try to manage and probably win some games. But i fear in the end it won't be enough.
The second reason is that i need to reform my team. Meanwhile i'm working on a long-term plan and this year in BBBL gives me an extra year of training and cash :)
If i don't do this reform now, it will come and bite me in the next seasons. So i'd rather stay realistic, reform the team and come back in a few seasons much better prepared.

Good luck to all (though you won't need it against my team ;) )

grtz,
Polleforever

Great presentation... as usual!!!
Thanks Joe!

Regarding my team, i don't know exactly what i have to expect... it's still too early and will depend of the improvements thanks to the trainings... It's clearly a transition season in order to be ready when ...Joe will have to make his transition year within 2 seasons... With my present team (and future improvements) i could win against each and every team in BBBL ... but everything will depend of the evolution of the BBBL teams in the cup and their goals regarding the cup... Many elements you are not able to know and manage for the moment... so it will be a week by week management focusing on the training of my very young players (certainly the youngest of the BBBL)... and let's see where Stonestars will stand after the Allstars game...

Good luck to everybody for this new season!

But i'll hope i'll be back one day, better prepared than now.

Good luck all

Excellent review like always ;-)

As far as my team is concerned:
Last season my goal was avoiding relegation and I did just fine ending up 5th

This year my goal is to reach the BBBL PO's for the first time.

I think I have the players to do so and the experience now to choose the right tactic.
Just have to hope a little luck will swing my way every now and again and ofcourse avoid injuries :-S

A warm welcome to the new teams (allthough most have been here before), Polle-forever nice having you in the same conference (aaahhhh nostalgia)

Ready for a season possibly more exciting then last year

Grtz,

Fille

Nice preview indeed :-)
Last season boes was playing on a cloud. Back to reality now, and I realise that last season results are no guaranty for future results in the BBBL. a good start could take some pressure away…
My roster this season will be very similar if changes are made it must be an improvement ;-)

Good luck everybody!
