Probably you've reason, the salary of my best players raised of only 2k during the last update, if they will go up again of 2k this will not be a problem for me, if the salary will not raise proportionally but exponentially I'll have some problems but in this case BB will follow hattrick with all the troubles that hattrick has with the salaries of the best palyers.

The training prevents this.

Uber-training one skill will make a player who is really good in one skill, but sucks overall.

Balanced training will see the player perform much better, and the salaries wont rise a massive amount.

I have a hunch, backed by no evidence but gut feel, that a player's salary is mostly dependent on whatever their highest main skill is.

The salary of my starplayer doubled at the last update, from 5k to 10k. It will probably go to 18k or something now.

But indeed salary updates will not really solve the problem, since most of the risers will be only the trainees, and since most teams only have 5 trainees or something this will not really have a huge influence at the balance.

The most important update is adding weekly arena costs imo. The bigger teams out there can just keep expanding the arena without paying more. That shouldn't be possible, running a 20k seats arena without paying anything. It's not realistic and not good for the economy here. I see teams making easily 300k+ revenue from a home game in the I.1. That's even more than a TV-Game in II for example.

I never understood why there weren't arena costs yet.

I agree, I think all arenas over 19,999 should incur a 500K per week penalty.

lol it's not about a penalty. It's more about maintenance costs. Electricity, keeping the stadium clean etc.
Oh yeah capacity doesn't really matter in the story, that was just an example.

Edit: Oh now I do understand the joke lol. Sry little slow today.

Oh yeah, good point. I'm not very active at the TL, so I guess that's why I didn't think about it that way hehe.

Strange discussion but the prices of the bids are now foolish compare only to last season; it means that there are a lot of teams that have a lot of money and for the economic balance probably that's not good. The top teams in the first 2 or 3 divisions are able to save a lot of money, instead the youngest teams are having troubles cause they don't have cash. I know BBs want to "separate" the top divisions with the others but the prices are rising very fast. Don't you think something must be done to stop a little bit this process?
Trading is still the fastest way to became rich but even if you're not a trader is too easy to earn money in the top 3 divisions; this situation is another advantage for traders and for people that is able to speculate on the market keeping the training an optional.


You havent come over to the darkside have you Ned? Is that a day trade you are executing at the moment?

I never thought Id see the day.....
