Buddy, it's a scrimmage. The game means absolutely nothing except getting younger players training minutes. You shouldn't care if you win or you lose and I can guarantee you that your opponent didn't care. If it was a meaningful game, he would have run out enough players that lucky fan wouldn't have seen the floor.

You want a reason to make sense of a pretty meaningless situation? lol

Okay here you go. The pro players take it easier on the Lucky Fan because he's just a fan so he can get off better looks and the defense isn't all that tight on him sorta like letting your kid brother play when you're short a guy. Also Lucky Fans only get picked based on talent and previous experience so the Lucky Fan is likely an ex college basketball player or the local highschool star.

There you go; a reson for your Lucky Fan play. ;^)

when his team is way better then yours, they could compete with 4,5 half men. And yes lucky fans ain't total scrubs, but still weaker then the drafted players.

And as said before, the defence rotates also, so if you have an weak attacker his matchup will backup a bit an help more in the defense. (there was an BB statement long time ago, but i don't think they changed it with the engne changes) The same happens with a superior attacker, he draws exra attention from the defense, but also makes it easier to score for his team mates - i believe both effect are created through the ratings ;)

And overall a statistical evaluation needs more data to be good, in this case the lucky fan indeed was lucky ;)
