1) Morale

When you buy and sell lot of players during the season it should have impact on your team chemistry -> player ratings and offensive flow should decrease and so on. Players don't know each other and they don't play and practise as hard as they usually do because team morale is low.

2) Fanbase gets angry when you trade players too much

If you change your players way too often you should get lower atteadances at your homegames and less merchandise revenue. Fans cannot get to know the team when there's lot of transfers and they refuse to attend games. There's currently this kind of element in this new fan survey thing, but it seems to have very little impact to anything. Make daytrading cost much more in many areas, not just transfer revenue you get back when selling.

3) Limit the number transfers per season

Why not to limit the number of different players team can have in single season? For example here in Finland top league team can have maximum of 24 different players in their squad per season. If you sell player you wont get that player spot open until next the season. Sure there could be some exceptions like injury problems for example. This thing shuold be very easy to implement.
