I give a slight edge to the greeners over Mr. Winless, but it's close. Mr. Winless has the beast that is Michael O'Byrne. But I think the greeners have a bit better overall roster, including a better bench. So it should be a good race methinks.

i decided to take the same approach as last season replace my entire team with better players but a guy in my league is mad because i messed up his training minutes by forfeiting the game, but i only had two players, it may take a while to get my team together but i know that i at least wont get relegated because my team will be full of players by then

yeah, I'll be honest, as a person who counts on training every game, to throw a forfeiture in there really sucks. That's because he only gets 42 minutes rather than 48, and there is a big big drop off in training efficiency between 42 and 48. I'd be pissed too. All you needed was one sub 2K salary guy to stick in with your other players. You should have one anyway for scrimmage meat.

most people think that once you get to level 4 (=advanced), you've got about the best bang for your buck in terms of training.

Beyond that, trainers don't give nearly as much increased training as they cost.

I was looking through the draft and I noticed that "young khalifa" drafted a hall of fame potential guy in the third round, and a 4k salary, but they are inactive and he won't get training. its terrible to see a young player like that go to waste

My advice is to not spend too much time looking through the draft results in D.V leagues. There are so many bots, and managers who don't stick around, that really good players are lost all the time. It'll make you crazy once you start appreciating what it takes to train players.

I'm one of the scouts for the USA U21 team and I know how hard it is to get that combination of high potential, good starting skills, and good owner/trainer.

Training is fun though. There's nothing like Friday morning seeing little arrows next to your guys when they pop their skills.
