Well I did mean something like get the most wins/best position but who will be tanking and who wont is the million dollar question right now.

I hear Monkey is also going to be a top tanker this season. He has finally come to realise his team and management skills just aren't going to cut it in ABBL :p


The management team here at Monkey Business have gone AWOL doing some monkey business of their own and is proud to announce that we will "try" to tank some games unless they are playing Zazz....:p

What the Great 8 need is for a team to take on the "Adams Guns" role of tanking for the greater good of all the other teams in that conference.

Would enable all the other battling teams to be able to concentrate on training and banking rather than having to spend the whole season going backwads battling for survival.

Logic suggests that the team to tank, for the greater good of every other team is, Chelsea Seagulls

My reasonings for this is that they are HAs rivals and that they also play HA in TV games

I dont know that you have an understanding of the full concept of Tanking?

First thing that you should be doing is selling off a couple of those expensive players before Saturdays game

Its all for the greater good of the Great 8

I'm surprised the majority have voted for DFBS and HA only has 1 vote.

HA already has a ABBL ready roster and right now I say he has the best squad out of the recent promotees. He is in the weaker Great 8 conference so my bet is that he will be able to finish fairly higher up than a number of teams and have a good chance of staying in ABBL this time around.

DFBS with 5 votes, I really can't see him getting out of the relegation zone in a difficult Big 8 conference. With only iwen confirmed tanking and everyone else with decent rosters, DFBS is still a way behind the next team so unless he has a ton of cash stashed away then it is hard to see him finish above 6th/7th. Looking at a relegation playoff against the other conference.

Obviously thats just my opinion...

yep, I am surprised too! Maybe I just have alot of optimistic fans out there. You are right, Big 8 conference looks to be really tough and after a brief scouting, I see myself coming maybe 7th if Iwen really tank this season.

I'm a man of my word guys, otherwise selling players like McArthur and Dell'Asta just to buy some foreign mercenaries would be crazy....

I fully intend on brining my wrath to division II and III.
