another quick one re: trainers

I've only ever had an Advanced trainer and I managed to get Gab Wall into the U21's without a problem.
So don't spend $400k on a superior trainer, that's an EPIC waste of money in my opinion.
you can get an advanced trainer with a $15k salary for very little capital outlay.

scout 3pts a week coz you will finish down the bottom of the ladder and are a better chance to get your first pick. :)

train single position as much as possible.
if you're training point guards as has been suggest here, train pressure and passing pop for pop. and to even it out even more you could do OD, Passing, 1on1 evenly.

also as i suggested in my last post.
Don't throw all your money at the arena in 1 big chunk, it's better to do $100k at a time max in my opinion.

good thing we have some varying ideas in this div. :)

lol we are all on the same page, just a little different.

there isnt a lot of difference between lvl 4-5 trainers, and ranga is right a lvl 4 trainer is capable of great training, but for me the extra 2-4 pops a season out of a lvl 5 trainer pays for itself :D

agree on the small upgrades at a time. 500 bleachers at a time..job gets done quicker, so you start to get return on investment sooner.

extra 2 - 4 pops per season? Gab wall is averaging 13pops a season so far i think.
are you getting 15 pops???
and that does include some 2pos training.

im actually curious, not trying to stir.

hard to say.. Courreges got 13 pops last season, but he also missed 4-5 weeks of training as he was drafted by a bot and didnt play a game b4 i bought him. and that is all skill pops, not Stam or FT's

chan popped well, but disapponted with brumecik, but i guess tis what happens when you train a 6'6 in guard skills :D

Majority of my training last season was either Passing or Pressure, with 1 week of 1vs1 and some JS training at the end.

Wall is also 7'2 so he prolly trains quicker cause of his height..

all i can say, is i look at Coureges ratings and am VERY happy with the player he is becoming. is it worth the 400k? i think so :D

that is a great tip. i never got that advice and possibly cost me 20 or 30k in various points during my time in BB

although i dont agree with what skyhook said about building 2000 bleachers instead of 1000 and some other seats. but thats up to you.

and i would save the coin and buy an advanced trainer as you arent training for a NT. those funds will be more important in your pocket this season than in that trainer.

i should clarify.. i would be aiming to add 2000 bleachers plus the other seats bainsy talked about by the end of the season..

maybe do a pattern of :

500 bleachers
140 lower tier
50 courtside
500 bleachers
140 lower tier
50 courtside
500 bleachers
50 courtside
500 bleachers

that would give u an arena of :

7300 bleachers
730 lower tier
200 courtside
4 luxury boxes

Total : 8234

bleachers are your real money earners.. you make your money back so quickly on these babies compared to other seats.

Thanks heaps for the arena tips. I checked all your arenas and realized I was short. Gradual expansion is the plan. Any advice on pricing?

I have been 2 position training for the guards so will change to 1 pos.

well coz you have so very very few seats your prices might be ok til the next change
see how your attendance is going closer to the 29th November when you can change them next.

:)

good luck for the season mate, really glad to see another active team on the forums. :)
