I had a tournament game Thanksgiving night which was the alltime heartbreaker in my book.
Catch up with the game at the end of the first, down 8. Balloons to 17 at the half, stretches to 26 at 64-38 midway thru the 3rd. I whittled some of the lead down by it was back to 16 at 81-65 with 5:44 to go then I made my move. Actually took the lead and was up 3 at 91-88. The other team hits a three with about 10 seconds to go and I am unable to get two attempts to fall at the end of regulation. In the overtime, I hold the lead most of the way and score with 4 seconds left to go up 100-98. The other guy comes down, tries a three that misses, and I get called for a foul on the play with all zeros showing. Bang, bang, bang, goodnight now, drive safely and thanks for coming out and my guys are out of the tourney. Long flight home.
