Okay, the faq is out of date. And i'm aware caps are based on skill rather than salary. And I'm also aware different sets of skills may lead to different salaries, but 55k still seems pretty low (bare in mind this cap was reached two months ago, probably before salaries were updated, so it cant be argued that he could have caped during season).
I'm not going at this as a protest or as a specific case study, I'm just trying to get a better notion of what I can expect from the two perenials i just bought. Is 55k weird for you guys as well or this pretty much what i can expect?
Another thing I'm curious is this: I'm unsure if i read this somewhere else or if i simply made it up, but is it true that a caped player, lets say a C, could train other skills such as jump shot and still have some success? Skills that are not important to his specific position.
One other thing: from what i read as well, caps don't make it impossible for you to ever train those top skills again, it just makes the training speed way slower. By that should i understand more than two months for a pop or is it usually not that slow? Anyone with experience training capped players?
