Stick with OD for the rest of the reason if you are going to train guards
or
ID if your going to train bigs.

That should be a solid foundation before you know what you are doing. And also because defense wins games.

You live in blue territory but you support the cane toads? shameful.

Well at his height and age, you could train him anywhere. The best position that can best utilize his potential(with that height and age) would be SF, but those can take 8+ seasons to train. Try, shooting guard? Thats a good first trainee. OD, JS, PA, JR, HA, DR will be necessary, but mostly OD and JS.

One INSANELY important thing to remember is that this game is a marathon, not a sprint and you will not see results fast and you will not see immediate success, but if you plan correctly you can see a bright future with many successes.

One thing I learnt the "hard way" was not to write thanks all the time ;) Instead give the vets a +1 ball when they give you useful advise. They would appreciate it more I think.

Oh yeah and welcome! I'm the young gun around here lol

*btw, go the blues!!! (even though they suck)*

Great advice from everyone here. If you train OD make sure you set it to PG only as if you only train at one position you will get results quicker. Some skills can only be trained at 2 spots so that is cool if you have to do those but if you train guards make sure you do OD and passing at PG only then Outside shooting for JR at SG only.

Hope this helps

Finally though I am a Melbourne boy born & bread I can't help but echo Billy Moore's words QUEEEEENSLANDER

I'm guessing that OD training comes under pressure? As I can't see anything that says Outside Defense in the training section.

"Come with me if you want to live," Kyle Reese.

You are in trouble but if you want to survive you can still probably remain up in your league if that is a priority. However someone has given you horrible advice and the money you have wasted on really bad players will make survival much harder.

The players you are selling are mostly rubbish but Maynard Irons, John Goodwin and Callum Singh have potential as backups if they don't sell. The rest, if they don't sell, don't relist them just fire them after your game on Saturday.

The other urgent issue is Allan Brinkman your future star (and now Ɓukasz Pochmara who looks like a terrible purchase as well). You must play him 48+ in the scrimmage tonight. My tip for doing it best without screwing things up is play five guys in the scrimmage. Set each one as starter, reserve and backup for one position with the options "strictly folow depth chart" and "let them play" selected.

COMPLEX BUT BEST
I wish I knew their stats so I could give better advice. It would be best to play them both at PG but Pochman already has 48+ at SG this week so maybe best to put Brinkman at the SG position for 48+. If you are keeping Mack Irwin put him at the other guard spot just this once. For training type choose Outside Shooting for SG.

LESS COMPLEX BUT WORSE
Just put Brinkman in for 48+ at PG tonight and choose jump shot for guards and lots of people should get trained. Make sure you have a level four or higher trainer.

STOP SPENDING!
Your money at the start is plentiful and it will be a long time before you have that much again and you have already thrown away a lot.

Your trainer should cost less than $20,000 to buy and have a weekly salary of less than $15,000. If you can get a level four with fitness speciality that is a great bonus.

Wow so much info, thanks for that, what do I do for my game on the Saturday? A similar lineup? And you say that JS is the better way to go than OD?
