thats always been a debate...many say that 2-3 opens up the perimeter so the guards thread easy passes to the big men so there is only one chance to stop them from scoring and thus that pressure leads to fouls.and i agree to that.
but then the question arises that if we cant use 2-3 against inside attacks then why has that been provided to us.

The BB's have said that 2-3 works if you have a frontline with high shotblocking. Problem is, people have always been ignoring SB training in their bigs (for various reasons) so almost every big man available out there doesn't have this skill set. This is especially true as you get into the higher salaried players.
