Yeah,... didn't know to put as primary or not, since all advice says never directly train SB

you know? kinda puts it in one of those states of limbo

I've noticed with my bigman that even the ones with lower IS< or even as the one whom didn't ave low IS, but went against bigmen with better ID, if the bigman they were against didn't have decent SB, even with low IS, as long as my bigman had rebounding at par or better to the other guy, they would rebound misses and tip them back in.

I agree with you that IS is overrated. But for the U21 player am training up, I am following the advice of the people who want him trained with the IS and all the shebang etc.

If you saw the stats on my guy who (and honestly its true) may not make the U21... you'd think his odds are less far-fetched...

well had he been an indian then he would have been looked upon as the future indian NT starter.
but are u planning to make him into a C or a PF???

then just train him the way u want him to be.i mean dont just go after the scouts blindly.they want the player to be trained in the way the NT wants him to be and not the way u want him to be.just train him in one on one for forwards,SB,RB,IS and JS for forwards and u shall have a really good player who would help u win quite a few games.
and if u can play him at PG during ASW and season end weeks to train him in passing and some but of OD as well.
