But there's no evidence right now that what you are shown doesn't accurately indicate their actual level of health.

We aren't shown anything regarding health level. We're only shown injury/no injury.

Does game shape include health/wear and tear? I doubt it, because it's rare that a player's game shape will improve without PLAYING the player - if health were a factor, then this would not be the case.

So a health rating would reflect how battered a player is due to fatigue or injury - it would affect the player's game shape as well, and would let you know when a player needed a day off - either by putting him on the bench as a backup or resting him altogether.

If there IS a hidden injury tag, then this would help us to deal with this, without making that tag or its value(s) transparent...

Right, because everything right now points to those being the only two states. A player is either injured or they are not. So we are currently given complete information.

That's all you were suggesting at the start of this thread, right? That you be shown complete information about a player's injury state? My contention is that you already have it.

No, hat is not complete information.

If someone is injured with a broken toe, they're going to have a harder time recovering than someone with a sprained finger on their non-shooting hand - even though they may be out the same amount of time.

A broken foot is also more likely to get reinjured.

I want more in-depth information on a player's health level and injury history, and to have it made clear whether or not any of this is taken into consideration in the game...

If this would be implemented into the game BB would become much more realistic... Even (how I mentioned before) I would like to see possibility that player could get injury with that he wont be able to play any more (should give up basketball).

OK, I think you and I are getting crossed up because there are two things you're talking about:

- You want to know "Is there currently a hidden injury setting?" And if there is, there should be a way a user can know about, either directly or indirectly.

I strongly, strongly feel the answer is no based on what I've said earlier... the way injuries are currently modeled is completely transparent to the user. But I guess we won't know until a BB confirms.

- You're suggesting that injury proneness and "playing injuries" (injuries that aren't so bad to keep a player out) should be part of the game if it isn't already, and that that information be made available to the user in various ways, e.g. injuries by body part, "playing injuries" displayed, health history, etc.

I'm agree.
