To me, a team needs these kind of players;

1. A scorer---the scorer is the core of the team, they can make difficult shots, and make some clutch ones too. They 'll bring your team to be a scoring beast.

2. Sidekick scorer--- the guy who needs to also make clutch shots. They also know how to pass, and rebound.

3. Defender---the best defender on the team. They'll block shots, get rebounds, and will make it tough for the opponet to make the shot. Minor scorer

4. Rebounder---the guy who knows how to rebound, in my school I'm like the top 5 rebounders, not because of height though. But back on the subject; They rebounds, aren't afraid to foul in rebounding situations, and can make inside shots, I'm talking about a PF.

5. Dunker---_______________ throws it down! The dunker on the team knows how to inside score, defend, and rebound! He'll be a great guy for the team!

6. The 6th man--He's a scorer, rebounder, literally the best guy on the bench. Deserve to be a starter, but likes his role. My 6th man gets 12 pts a game.

7. Thug
Thug is THE MOST IMPORTANT PERSON on a basketball, or Hockey team. because without him, the other team can disrespect you. Nobody disrespects the Lakers because of WorldPeace, even without him, Bynum's a thug. The Nuggets.... They got worked ever since K-Mart wasn't there, cause none of them are thuggish. Mozgov is a thug, but Karl never plays Mozgov because "He makes too many big dumb fouls", he's just making a thug foul. When he was on Bynum, the Nuggets were much more effective.

Danny Granger, plays like a thug, thats why LeBron hates Granger's guts.

g a thug, Rough Revfi. Injured 3 guys in 3 games. He also injured 2 players at once. He loves smack talk latly. he's my thug. He's also one of those 6 I mentioned.

He's my sidekick scorer when he doesn't foul.

Fact remains, if you're going to sue real basketball logic: Thug. Most important person on team
You can win without scorers, you can win without rebounding well, you can win without a dunker.

But you can not win, if the other team, can bully you around, do whatever they want on offense, or defense, and do whatever, without fear of REAL hard foul, or cheap shot, or a pick they run into that hurts, etc. You need a thug.

Even movies of kids in b-ball cover it. Rebound, with martin lawrence, the fat girl was a thug. Much more important than the scorer, or the yeti center kid.

I got the leader; Henrique Forjaz. Most complete guy on the team. For me. 1 day he blocked like, 6 times! And he can rebound/score. Can play defense. He's like my MVP right now. Remember Zoran Jakovic??? He's my best guy ever! He holds top on ALL of the records set, he has 4/5 of scoring records, and he scored the most points on my team-44. I regret selling him. He was a cheap guy, but he has heart for this game. Real heart and soul, and determination.

I REGRET SELLING HIM

Well, everyone got their own style. That's what makes this game fun. For you it's defense. For me, it's racking up the points/defense a tad bit.

I disagree with your first point, I agree with the second point. Just having defense without offense won't win you nothing. Offense and defense are equally important. But the second point is true, offense DOES cost a lot more to field than defense in this game...

Offense wins games, defense wins championships.
Offense also costs a lot more to field then what defense does in this game

As important as that is the notion that offense can be weak in some positions as long as those players can at least handle and pass the ball, but a weakness on defense can be devastating.
