How much are you in debt exactly? Because if you're not in debt, I think you'd be better off keeping the team you've got.

So maybe you could just demote into D5 next season? Or at least help your friends get into D4 sooner rather than later, while you maintain your mediocrity in D4.

Pretty sure if you're in 500K debt for three or five (not sure) economic updates, your star players are sold until you are out of debt.

Which has already happened, and it barely got me out of debt...like not even enough to buy a decent-crappy-has potential-but not really-scrub

One of your guys is selling for $500000 this week, that will definitely help.

I think you might be better off sticking around with the team you've got. Perhaps tank next year, train a couple of 18 year olds, save all the $$$$ you can and then demote to D5 the following season. That way you'll be in the exact same position you would be waiting 7 weeks, that being in D5. Only in this case you'll have a better arena and more $$$$ in your pocket and a couple of decent trainees in your hand.
