OD if you really want to focus on that guy.

Contrary to popular belief, it is okay to train players older than 18, especially since you already own him.
Pick up a few 18 year olds and train him along with him.
With allstar potential he'll probably cap in about 5 pops or so and you can add a new trainee to your rotation next season.

The potential of a trainee doesn't affect training speed, but there could be several factors as to why he had 11 pops (which isn't to bad, that's a little under one per week).
Training speed can be affected by the age of your trainee. 18 and 19 year olds train fastest, but they won't train as fast as they get older. Another factor could be your trainer. If you have the lowest level of trainers then chances are that you are missing out on some valuable training. Also if you one position train your trainee then he will pop much quicker as opposed to 2 or 3 man training. A factor that some people don't think about is height. If he's a PF/C, but is only 6'3" then he won't pop as fast in INSIDE skills as a 7'0" trainee. Same with a PG/SG, a player won't pop as quickly in OUTSIDE skills if he's 6'8" as opposed to 6'0".

Depends what type of training you are doing as well. A full season of Pressure training will give less pops then a full season of one on one training.

I had my 2 18 year's old draftees have 17 pops each last season, with a superior trainer, and I did a lot of inside training even though they're short

Sori, i did't specified my trainee. I have a superrior trainer. He is 18 y/o 6'6" i train OD-ID-DR(forwards) for 3/4 of season and OD-DR(forwards)-JS(wingman) for da rest and for this season also. Is dat sufficient to have 11 pops in one season. ?

Yeah, that sounds plausible. He is young, so getting 10+ pops in this season is doable.
