You get a lot better merchandise money if you keep your players though ;) Plus they are fun to watch em grow. Thats just my opinion though.

Haha, If I knew that I would've kept him. But I needed the 777k you bought him for, asap, because I need to promote out of this league and I'm a guy without enough patience to watch a player grow.. :)

Well I'm 12-1 this season now. Picked up some great players with the money and hoping to get out of this stinkin league.

Rodolfo's future??

The Kingz seem to be plagued by injuries this season. The PF from Italy, Rodolfo Gasbarro, fell hard after playing 20 minutes against the Dallas Lions. He's going to be out for about a week. He finished with 12 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 blocks. With the small amount of money the Kingz have after going shopping, They are put in a difficult situation – The Kingz currently earn -$8,000 after a recent firing & hiring of a PR-Manager. The Kingz were deciding on which player to sell or fire before the game so they can get back in the positives. Rod earns approx. $12,000. The Kingz have to decide whether to keep him or release him. When the Manager CJ was asked this question he responded, "Rod has been a big part of our team this season, but at the same time, we need the money. I'll have to talk about it with my staff, you can expect the answer tomorrow."

Two Kingz voted in as All-Stars for the Great 8.

Jozef Likta and Zeng Dajun we're both voted in as All-Stars for the All-Star game. Jozef was also voted into the Three-Point shot contest. Jozef played just 10 minutes in the All-Star game and had 5 points (2-5 shooting), 1 rebound, and a steal. Zeng played 14 minutes and had 13 points (6-9 shooting), 1 rebound, and 1 assist. The Great 8 beat the Big 8 181-120.

Jozef Likta voted into the 3-point contest, and WINS!

For the first time in franchise history, a King (Jozef Likta) was voted into the 3-point contest. 26 year old Jozef averages 21.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.5 assists. He shoots 49.2% from the field and 41.3% from three point land. In the first round, he crushed all the other players with 22 points, while the highest of any other player was 15. In the second round he (16 points) had double the points of his opponent J. Horton (8 points) and won the contest.

Kingz first half of season awards.

MVP: Jozef Likta. Jozef has averaged 21.8 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 3.4 apg in 37 minutes for the Kingz. Joz is most known for his clutch performances he has every game. Jozef leads the team in scoring, won the three point contest, and started at SG at the All-Star game.

Defensive player of the half: Definitely SF/PF Zeng Dajun. Zeng averages 3.4 steals & 0.7 blocks a game. He frustrates his opponents with his crazy perimeter defense and is clearly the Defensive player of the half for the Kingz.

Most improved: Torben Burdiek. Torben's averages of 8.9 points and 5.4 rebounds on 55% shooting jumped to 14.7 points and 10.3 rebounds on 62% shooting and 64% shooting from downtown. He started the season as the 6th man, but claimed the starting role after the selling of Antonio.

Jozef Likta reason for Kingz last three losses in a row?

Jozef Likta has made just 4 threes out of his last 29 attempts. Thats an atrocious 13%! Before this string of cold games, Joz averages about 43% from deep. After going 14-1, The Kingz are now 14-4. Jozef Likta has shot just 12% from three in these three games.

Have you thought about playing Motion? Your team would do very well in that offense in my opinion. Also in order to succeed at a higher level you should looking at getting at least one good big man soon.

I'll try motion in our next game, last game of the season. If it works out, I may use it in the playoffs.

And yea, I need a big man. I bought some cheap players because I couldn't afford my previous one. I'm $100,000 in debt now. I bought a better doctor thinking I could afford him. Then two of my players got injured and I had to sell them in order to make it into the playoffs. Before buying new players we lost 3 straight, killing our attendance. Then I bought some players and lost a fourth straight, against our rival. This REALLY killed our attendance. We had steady income before all this, next season I'm going to try and rebuild my team.

Regular season awards!

And the MVP award goes to. . . Jozef Likta

Likta is clearly the best shooter on this team -- and maybe in the whole league -- and has had the best FG % of his career & career high averages in rebounds and assists this season. Likta was selected to play in the all-star game, crushed everyone in the 3 PT contest, and is clearly the fuel for this team's success this season.

The DPOY is . . . It's a TIE! Torben Buurdiek & Zeng Dajun

Torben is the better interior defender while Zeng is better at stripping the ball out of the opponent's hands. If this was about stats, Zeng would've won this award, but Toben's presence makes opponents shy away from driving in and take a jump shot instead. Torben averaged 1.8 blocks this season (& Altered countless shots), but Zeng averaged 3 steals a game.

Most Improved? Charilaos Ayiannis

Ayiannis was supposed to be the back-up center, however, because of his improvement he's taken the starting role. Ayiannis brought up his 3.7 ppg, 5.7 rpg averages from his first few games to 8.2 ppg, 10.7 rpg.
