I would say that it wears off at the end of the season. It becomes minute at the later stages. The only seats that you can notice the difference on is bleachers by the end of the season. Basically, you can price the seats $1 above what you will be able to price it at during the next season playing at the same success level or better (winning before-home games). The effect is around 50-60% (or $5 increase) until the first pricing change (over previous season's pricing). Then I think it is best to lower to a $4 increase until end of interconference play. After that lowering to a $3 increase is probably ideal.

The effect on lower tier wears off towards the end of interconference play, but the boost to those sales are not as great to begin with (somewhere near 30-40%).

There is no boost to sales of box/court.

OK, that's helpful specific detail. So here's what I did moving up from IV to III:

Bleachers - $10 --> 12
Lower Tier - $32 -->35
Courtside - $103 --> 115
Boxes - $800 -->850

I have sold everything the same as before the price increase, so if anything I might have been too conservative before. I have moved up to 5th place now and 4.5 balls on my fan survey, so I'm not concerned yet.

Would your advice be to hold these prices steady? It sounds like I could have gone higher on bleachers to start with and maybe LT as well.

I guess it depends on your arena, I did the following:

$12 -> $15
$37 -> $44
$110 -> $130
$975 -> $1100

I went too conservative too, I sold everything out. My arena is a bit different though; less bleachers and boxes but more LT and Courtside. Of course there's also a difference between our countries, but I'm guessing dutch III to II is about the same as USA IV to III.

I don't know how to compare countries, but I would assume that Division II prices can be higher than III regardless of competition level.

With your team at 2-5, are you planning to lower any of those now? Or just see if you had a little wiggle room built into those prices already and take a chance?

For all of the excruciating detail put into helping owners with training plans, I don't find that it's very easy to get exact answers to arena pricing questions. It seems to be one of the more vague areas of the game, and yet it's as critical to success as anything because money left on the table can make a massive difference.

Based on my research, you should be able to bump up pricing on bleacher by $1 for sure and perhaps $2. If you were looking to expand to 12,000 seats I'd suggest $1. If you were looking to stay at 11,000 I'd suggest $2.

Similar situation in lower. You should be able to bump lower up by $2-$3 if you wanted to remain with the same seating. Otherwise I'd suggest $1-2 depending on how much you want to expand in the next few weeks.

As for court and lux...just look around the top teams in your leagues. Personally I'm not reviewing teams with less than 500 court and 30 lux because I already am there. Those prices are steady.

Yeah the total prices could be higher, but I was sharing the price increases. I thought I did raise my prices by a fair amount, while also expanding my arena at the same time, but it seems I should have increased the prices more.

I'm currently upping the prices of my LT, Courtside and Boxes as I think I'll have some wriggle room, and if I don't, I'll just expand my bleachers that will remain with the same price. My record might be 2-5, but I've bought some strong players and I feel with Enth/gameshape management I can be in the upper half of the league. I'm taking a bit of a risk by increasing prices, but we'll see.

The answer appears to be that it somewhat stopped already. First game tonight after the price adjustment and we sold about 1000 fewer bleachers than capacity. This could be because I upped the price a dollar, but we essentially broke even with the seats we sold getting the extra buck.

All the other seats sold as before, and I left all those prices the same. I wonder whether they would have come with an increase to those seats ... Ah well. Now we have to do decently on the road and keep them coming.

what about demoting-

I was demoted from II division this year and my attendance is very low- so far I have won all games from start of season including cup games, rival an TV games with huge difference, so my question is when will I see return to more normal attendance?
